50th Greater Cleveland Drug Court Achievement Ceremony

On behalf of the Honorable Lauren C. Moore, Drug Court Judge; Dr. Daryl D. Jackson, Program Coordinator and Cleveland Municipal Court's Greater Cleveland Drug Court, thank you to all who participated in and contributed to Drug Court’s 50 Classes of Excellence Achievement Ceremony at the Dolan Center Auditorium at John Carroll University on Wednesday, October 14, 2015.

Special thanks to our speakers, former Cleveland Browns head coach Sam Rutigliano and former Browns wide receiver Reggie Langhorne, and for WKYC news reporter Wale Aliyu for his contribution as master of ceremonies.

Together, our contributions help create lasting change and a brighter future for children, families and individuals in our community struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. We all win when Cleveland Municipal Court makes investments to help individuals in our community to become successful in life; families strengthen and become stable; and people make healthy lifestyle choices. It takes everyone working together to create a brighter future.

Most of all, thank you to our twenty-seven "graduates" who's journey to recovery we celebrated that evening bringing the total number of people who successfully completed the program to 1,495 since it began 18 years ago. Of that number, almost 80% remain sober and drug-free.
