Judge Groves Receives Helping Hands Award

2 DSC_0137 rev3 Cleveland Municipal Court Mental Health Specialized Docket Judge Emanuella Groves received a Helping Hands Award on Monday May 13, 2019 at the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County Annual Meeting.

The ADAMHS Board is responsible for the planning, funding and monitoring of public mental health and addiction treatment and recovery services delivered to the residents of Cuyahoga County.  In addition to Judge Groves, the following Helping Hands awardees were recognized at this year's celebration: Josh Ruminski, Founder & Owner, Happy Thoughts Candle Company; Justin E. Herdman, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio; Hollie Strano, Meteorologist, WKYC; Sheryl Hirsh, Family Advocate; Craig Indoe, Owner, Indoe Painting and Home Improvement.

The Cleveland Municipal Court’s Mental Health Docket has been under the direction of Judge Groves since October, 2016. Under her leadership, significant changes have been made to increase the positive impact the docket has on its participants. See ADAMHS 2019 Annual Meeting Program
