Judge Moore Hosts Visiting Students

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018 the Honorable Lauren C. Moore hosted a group of students from Mary B. Martin Elementary School in Cleveland for a visit to the Cleveland Municipal Court. After observing her courtroom, Judge Moore spent time with the students over lunch.

The students are members of a new mentoring program at Mary B. Martin called Cleveland Jewels that aims to support girls and help them to become healthy, confident young women who are leaders in their community. The program was started by Case Western Reserve University graduate student Alexis Payne who spends an hour each week mentoring middle-school girls.  Visit "Cleveland Jewels provide positive role models for black girls" for more information.
