CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Municipal Court (CMC) concluded its Operation SNAP-Back initiative this week, delivering a significant collection of essential items to Providence House Cleveland on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025.
The drive, championed by Administrative and Presiding Judge Michelle D. Earley, was an intentional effort to support the city’s most vulnerable children and families. Rather than a broad, large-scale donation effort, the Court partnered with Providence House, a local crisis nursery focused on child abuse and neglect prevention, to ensure the greatest impact on immediate, local needs.
“The generosity of Cleveland Municipal Court staff has been overwhelming, proving that Justice has a Heart,” said Judge Earley. “Operation SNAP-Back was about our Court community stepping up for our most vulnerable neighbors. We are proud to support an organization that stands on the front lines of family stability in Cleveland.”
The Court’s departmental competition resulted in a wide range of donated essentials, including:
- Family essentials: New clothing, toys, and household items
- Nutrition: Nonperishable food and dry goods
- Flexibility: Gift cards for families to purchase specific needs
During the drop-off, several CMC staff members toured the Providence House facility and saw firsthand the vital work the nursery provides to families in crisis.
