Love was in the air and all around the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda when Valentine's Day Weddings returned to City Hall this year on Saturday, February 14, 2026 as 36 couples were joined in matrimony.
Eight judges from the Cleveland Municipal Court performed the ceremonies. The list included the Honorable Brett Horton, the Honorable Jeffrey Johnson, the Honorable Khalilah Lawson, the Honorable In Son J. Loving, the Honorable Jazmin Torres-Lugo, the Honorable Andrea Nelson Moore, the Honorable Bridget O'Brien, and the Honorable Sydney Strickland Saffold.

Going outside the Justice Center for weddings on Valentine’s Day started in 2009 when that special day fell on a Saturday. A number of couples wanted to get married and the building was closed, so the Court reached out to Tower City and the ceremonies were performed there until the pandemic hit and the ceremonies were performed virtually.
