Ed "Flash" Ferenc, Public Information Officer, Judicial Division
Office: (216) 664-6787
ference@cmcoh.org
It is the job of the Public Information Officer (PIO) to answer all media inquiries with regard to felony arraignments and anything concerning the General Division and the judges’ personal dockets.
Details on media access are spelled out in Rule 2 of the Cleveland Municipal Court’s Rules of Practice and Procedure, which is available on this website here. If you are a member of the broadcast media and wish to set up a camera or tape recorder in a courtroom, you need to fill out a “Request for Permission” form which is available on the 11th floor of the Justice Center.
If you are requesting detailed information, please put the request in writing and send to ference@cmcoh.org. Be specific as to what you are looking for and we’ll do everything possible to respond in a timely manner.
When necessary, the PIO will act as a spokesman for the Court. The PIO is also responsible for coordinating Cleveland Justice, a 30 minute program on Time Warner Channel 20 featuring cases heard in the Cleveland Municipal Court.
If you represent and school or any civic minded organization that wishes to set up a field trip to the Cleveland Municipal Court, just contact Ed Ferenc at (216) 664-6787 or ference@cmcoh.org
