In preparation for possible mass arrests that may occur during the week of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the Cleveland Municipal Court will have staff available from July 18-22 in the Justice Center on 1200 Ontario Street and if needed, at the Cleveland House of Corrections, located at 4041 Northfield Road in Cleveland.

(Cleveland) -- In preparation for possible mass arrests that may occur during the week of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the Cleveland Municipal Court will have staff available from July 18-22 in the Justice Center on 1200 Ontario Street and if needed, at the Cleveland House of Corrections, located at 4041 Northfield Road in Cleveland.
The shifts will be ten hours in length, from 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and then 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Arraignments will take place in Courtrooms 3B, 3C and 3D in the Justice Center with dockets starting at 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (as needed).
More times will be added if necessary and arraignments may take place at the Cleveland House of Corrections depending on the caseload.
All personal dockets are being diverted during RNC week and any court employee not assigned to process arraignments will either take vacation time or be required to complete available training.
