Bridging the Gap: Opiates vs. Crack

The Greater Cleveland Drug Court held its first Community Symposium of the year, "Bridging the Gap: Opiates vs. Crack" on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Imani Temple Ministries in Cleveland Heights.  Approximately 175 attended the panel discussion which focused on the effect crack-cocaine has on our communities as well as on family life.

With the rise of heroin use, national attention to crack-cocaine is non-existent even though this drug continues to be a major problem.  Click "Drug Court Symposium Draws Crowd to Discuss Crack Addiction in Opiate-Focused Times" for coverage of this event on Cleveland.com.
