On June 22, 2012, the Centennial State of the Court Address took place in the Cleveland City Council chambers. The event attracted approximately 100 people.
The welcome address was delivered by the Honorable Charles L. Patton, a former Cleveland City Council member, current judge on the Cleveland Municipal Court bench. Ms. Colleen M. Cotter, Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland spoke about the role that the Legal Aid Society played in the formation of the Cleveland Municipal Court in 1912.
The Honorable Ronald B. Adrine reviewed the history of the court including interesting facts about the judges, cases, and the many political leaders who played a role in the Court over the past 100 years.
